Epson’s Portable High-Performance Projectors Feature Long-Lasting Projector Lamps

Epson announced the launch of three new portable high-performance projectors designed for “mobile professionals seeking an ideal amalgamation of elegance, durability and adequate execution.”

Dubbed as EB-1750, EB-1760W and EB-1775W, the new projectors feature integrated 3LCD technology that renders class leading brightness and sharper projections, according to company officials.

Weighing as light as about 1.7kg, the devices sport a super slim chassis to epitomize transportability.

The eco-friendly projectors also feature 802.11n high-speed wireless LAN connectivity. Users can also setup an ad-hoc wireless network between the devices and a notebook or PC.

Offering a 1280 x 800 widescreen resolution, the new range of projectors also features a unique USB Direct Display feature. With this, users can now do away with the customary, bulky VGA cable, company officials added.

“With these new mobile projectors and their quick setup features, Epson has made it as easy as possible for mobile professionals to concentrate on their presentations instead of worrying about projector setup,” said Samba Moorthy, senior general manager, Sales and Marketing, Epson India, in a statement.

Additionally Epson’s new range of projectors features powerful Auto Keystone Correction that automatically detects and corrects distortions caused by the image being projected from an angle within a second.

The two new models feature auto vertical keystone correction, while the EB-1775W version includes auto horizontal keystone correction. Other highlighting aspects include HDMI connectivity, front facing exhaust vents, mute slide lens shutter, integrated speakers and long-lasting projector lamps.

Back in September, Epson announced the launch of EH-R4000 and EH-R2000, two ultra-high-quality, Full HD projectors for discerning home cinema enthusiasts. They feature the new Epson 3LCD Reflective panel technology to offer an enhanced immersive cinematic experience.
