In the world today when the video presentations are an important way of communication in case of classroom training as well as for professional purposes, video projectors are extremely significant in that objective. The video projectors work by means of recognition of the signs emitted by a video signal with a goal and projects corresponding images on the projection screen.  Rear-projection screens and rear projection TV, or RPTV also help the formation of video projectors leading to the formation of a unified single unit that is used popular nowadays in the case of home theater systems.  Each video projector imbibed with the resolutions of the display of frequency variation.  These include the pixel to pixel XGA (1024 x 768), pixel SVGA (800 x 600), pixels of 1080p (1920 x 1080) and 720p (1280 x 720).

While it can not be denied that the cost of video projector is finally determined by the frequency resolution of the display, there are also certain other factors that are equally significant. These contain the acoustic output of noise, the light output and several other features.  It is true that the indicator light is very bright video projectors used to project images on the screen but the technological advances made it possible for it proved that there is no vague pictures or faulty and so to ensure the efficient operation. The quality of light indicator required depends on the size of the projection screen which is determined again by the size of the room or location where it must be projected.  The amount of light output needed is the measure by a unit called the lumen.  The amount of lighting needed for different media has been secured by American National Standards Institute or anxiety that for small screens around 1000 – 1500 lumens is sufficient while between 1500 – 3000 lumens for the average screen sizes.  For larger display screens the light output must be more than 3000 lumens.
